Anytone AT-D858 Portable
Special Note – Anytone Anytone AT-D878 UV Plus and Anytone AT-D578 UV
Please do not enable the ROAMING feature.
Unfortunately, the current implementation of roaming by Anytone adversely affects the AREC DMR network and other DMR networks. The Anytone roam feature simply keys up all the repeaters in the roam list until a repeater tail is received. Depending on the configuration the radio, this can keep all the networked repeaters transmitting continuously. The AREC DMR network repeaters beacon every two minutes to facilitate passive roaming which doe not cause interference.
Passive roaming is implemented by Hytera, Motorola, and Tait equipment.
